Convention 2011
The Sixth All Ireland Convention held in Bewley’s Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin on Saturday 28th May 2011 was very successful. The occasion was marked by a lovely harmonious atmosphere. Attending members hailed from the North and South of Ireland. We were honoured and very fortunate that Tom Davis, General Secretary of South Africa, who happened to be visiting Scotland at the time, stepped in as Guest Speaker in place of dear Ali Ritsema who was unable to make it. Tom spoke movingly and inspiringly on “In Tune with the Universe”. His presence and his words of wisdom were much appreciated.
At the preceding Business Meeting the following Officers were elected:

A heartfelt thank you was extended to Angela Duff, former Assistant Organising Secretary, for her sterling support and work on behalf of Phoenix Lodge over the past few years. The day finished with a presentation, an Irish memento, to our Guest Speaker, Tom, and with a firm resolve and commitment to focus on increasing the membership and future work of both Phoenix and Belfast Lodges.
