An Account of the 18th All Ireland Theosophical convention 2025

 

The 18th All Ireland Convention took place in Dublin on Saturday 17th May, 2025.

It was heartening having present members from the length and breadth of Ireland including a few from abroad.

We greatly appreciated the many heart-warming Greetings and good wishes from representatives of the Theosophical Society, worldwide. Two Brazilian members present, conveyed phone Greetings from their members. No doubt we all felt closely linked to our TS brothers and sisters across the globe and this greatly  helped to set the tone & sense of sacredness for the Convention ahead.

Following a Business Meeting, where all the existing Officers were re-elected in their posts, we had refreshments and then Catherine Lenehan, President of Phoenix Lodge, conducted a short potent Meditation.

There followed a Talk by the Organising Secretary, Marie Harkness, addressing the Convention theme: ‘Dedication to the Theosophical Cause and Aspects of Spiritual Perception’. This was warmly received and immediately followed some Questions and Answers based on the Convention theme.

The Convention was brought to a close by recitation of the Theosophical mantra, the Universal Prayer and a few photographs were taken before all had departed.

In all, it was a truly blessed, heart-warming and sacred occasion.
