An Account of the 16th All Ireland Theosophical convention 2023
The 16th All Ireland All Ireland Convention took place in the Merrion Room, Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin on Saturday 20th May, 2023. It was well attended and we were very happy to welcome once again our esteemed Guest Speaker, Gerard Brennan, who is an Australian member and is affiliated to TS Ireland. He was accompanied by a fellow Australian member, Mary Masselas.
At the short Business Meeting held before the Talk, Greetings from eighteen countries around the world were read out by The Organising and the Assistant Organising Secretaries. At this Meeting, the three All Ireland Officers, the Organising Secretary, the Assistant Organising Secretary, and the Treasurer, were re-elected to their posts.
There followed Refreshments for all and then the Guest Speaker, Gerard, gave his uplifting and inspiring address on a mystical theme: ‘Along the Path and Towards the Mountains’. After the questions and answers, the Guest Speaker and his fellow Australian travelling companion, Mary, were presented with Irish mementoes. There followed some group photographs and continuing warm conversations.
The occasion was brought to a close with the Universal Prayer, the Theosophical mantra, ‘O Hidden Life’.
In all, thankfully, a very successful, uplifting and congenial Convention.
